Admissions Requirements

Applying for the Master of Science in Supply Chain Management is just a click away! See if you qualify.

You must have a four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. Preferred degree types include 

• Business 
• Engineering
• Logistics 
• Transportation

If your undergraduate degree is from an academic field not listed above, you must have more than two years of relevant experience in the supply chain field. In general, we encourage applicants with supply chain management work experience to apply for this degree program.  U.S. residency is required  with the exception of U.S. military personnel.

Already enrolled in a graduate program at Auburn University? Have a GPA of at least 3.0? Then, you are eligible to apply to the MS in Supply Chain Management program.

Currently enrolled in one of the supply chain graduate certificates? You can also qualify for the MS degree program. In addition, any courses required for the degree program can be transferred.

Admission to the Master of Science in Supply Chain Management is competitive with standards that may exceed the requirements of other Auburn graduate certificate and degree programs.

Application Checklist

A completed application includes the following:

• Application fee paid to the Graduate School
• Official undergraduate transcripts and GPA
• GMAT or GRE scores 
  
  

  Auburn’s MS in Supply Chain Management requires GMAT/GRE test scores. This requirement is waived for applicants with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. academic institution along with a 3.25+ GPA or 2+ years of full-time/internship work experience related to supply chain management. Additional waiver requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis by completing the online ; however, it is advised to  with an admissions advisor in advance of submitting your request. Important to note: Being granted a GMAT/GRE waiver does not guarantee admission to the MS program.

• Official TOEFL or IELTS score (international students only)
• Personal Statement of Purpose (essay highlighting academic and professional experience, career ambitions, and inspiration to pursue the MS degree)
• Two letters of recommendation
• Professional Résumé

The graduate committee will review all applicants’ credentials. This process will determine your suitability and entrance into the Master of Science program. All recommended applications are sent to the dean of the graduate school for approval.

Application Process

Applications for admission to the Full-Time Master of Science in Supply Chain Management are managed by the . To apply:

1. Begin your application by creating an account for the online .
2. Upload copies of all admissions documents listed above to the online application.
3. Once an official admissions decision is made, you will receive a notification email. You must both accept our offer of admission and pay a $250 confirmation fee to secure a spot in the upcoming class.
4. The final step is to enroll in classes for the semester.

Application Deadline(s)

You may apply to begin the MS-SCM online program in the Fall or Spring semester. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis starting April 1st (for Fall semester) and October 1st (for Spring semester).

The last date to submit a complete application is:

• Domestic applicants: July 1st for starting in Fall, and November 15th for starting in Spring. 
• International applicants: May 15th for starting in Fall, and October 1st for starting in Spring.
