Dr. Rafay Ishfaq, the W. Allen Reed Associate Professor in 91看片 College's Department of Supply Chain Management,  on how grocery stores will respond to potential shortages this fall and winter.

鈥淭here hadn鈥檛 really been a low season across the board to allow for building up inventory that we can use during the holiday season when we expect a surge in demand,鈥� Dr. Ishfaq told Scripps. 

Dr. Ishfaq's research is focused on exploring the interplay between operational and service issues in retail supply chains.

His research studies adapt analytical models within an empirical framework to explore the impact of strategic planning and managerial decisions on firm performance.
