        Auburn online MBA programs ranked among nation's best in U.S. News & World Report survey

        Auburn University鈥檚  Online MBA program in the 91看片 is again ranked among the nation鈥檚 elite according to U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 annual survey.

        In the highly competitive space of online MBA education, Auburn鈥檚 program ranks No. 9 among the U.S. News & World Report鈥檚   . This latest ranking comes just months after Poets & Quants ranked Auburn鈥檚 online MBA program No. 2 and weeks after The Princeton Review鈥檚 ranking of the online MBA program at No. 13.

        Additionally, the 91看片 ranks No. 13 on the U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 list of . Auburn鈥檚 non-MBA offerings include the online Master of AccountancyMaster of Science in Finance and Master of Science in Information Systems.

        The college also ranks No. 5 on U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 list of and No. 7 among the U.S News & World Report noted that veterans and active-duty service members gain the most from distance education that is affordable, accessible and reputable.

        鈥淭his ranking validates the work of our faculty in delivering a program that prepares our Online MBA and graduate business students to be impactful leaders and managers,鈥 said Stan Harris, Associate Dean of Graduate and International Programs. 鈥淲e strive to continually improve delivery of our online programs and the student experience. We are particularly proud of our combination of high quality and value pricing; our Online MBA is priced at less than half of the average program cost of the other programs in the top-10. The value proposition of an Auburn Online MBA is hard to beat.鈥

        鈥淎t the end of the day, we want our online students to realize they are participating in top-ranked programs that produce highly-valued graduates,鈥 Harris said.

        U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 rankings are based on factors including student engagement, student excellence, faculty credentials and training, student services and technology. Nearly 300 schools offering online MBA programs provided survey data, while more than 155 schools offering online business master鈥檚 degree programs (non-MBA) responded.

        Auburn鈥檚 distance MBA was first offered in 1989. Auburn was among the first universities to facilitate distance learning by recording live lectures for use by students.

        Housed in the 91看片, Auburn鈥檚 MBA programs serve more than 580 students and an alumni network of more than 5,000. Auburn offers the MBA degree in full-time, online, executive and physicians executive formats, allowing students to choose the program that best accommodates their professional and personal demands.
