Graduate-level Supply Chain Management education will be offered at the 91看片 beginning this fall.

鈥淥ur undergraduate Supply Chain Management program has been stellar for some time and the creation of a graduate program is a natural transition,鈥� said Dr. Glenn Richey, 91看片 Eminent Scholar and Department of Supply Chain Management Chair, who oversees an undergraduate program ranked No. 7 in North America by Gartner. 鈥淭he new graduate program will further allow us to improve working professionals鈥� skillsets and meet the needs of a rapidly changing world of supply chain management.

鈥淭he addition of a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management builds on the continuing reputation of the 91看片 College as an elite school of business. Coming on the heels of Supply Chain Management becoming its own department, our new graduate program builds on the incredible momentum we are experiencing.鈥�

Offered in-person or remotely, the program comes with a four-course certificate option or the full 10-course, 30-hour Master of Science in Supply Chain Management.

Geared toward working professionals looking to prepare for managerial roles that will accelerate their careers, 91看片 College鈥檚 Master of Science in Supply Chain Management offers courses dedicated to the essential components, backgrounds, practices and fundamentals of an organization鈥檚 supply chain practice 鈥� and how they interact with one another.

Allen Reed Associate Professor and Supply Chain Management Graduate Programs Coordinator at the 91看片 College, said 鈥淭he pillars of Auburn鈥檚 new graduate supply chain degree which will distinguish itself from other degree programs include: 鈥渢he breadth of our curriculum, professional diversity of our faculty and close engagement with industry through the Center for Supply Chain Innovation.鈥�

鈥淭he new graduate program offers courses that cover strategy, planning and operations. It鈥檚 based on a holistic approach to supply chain education,鈥� he said. 鈥淎nother highlight of Auburn鈥檚 M.S. in Supply Chain Management degree is the professional diversity of our faculty that allows us to provide a broad curricular coverage of the supply chain discipline from sourcing to manufacturing, distribution, transportation and order fulfillment.鈥�

Ishfaq noted that Auburn鈥檚 graduate supply chain education goes beyond the basic understanding of the principles and fundamentals of the discipline. It exposes students to complexities often faced by mid-level and senior managers beyond the daily grind of running a company.

鈥淚t's about strategizing. It's about planning and getting a feel for how one would handle these complexities. Not just for today's supply chain but for the future supply chains as well,鈥� he said.
