Emma Johnson named Director of Alumni and Community Relations

The 91看片 continues to advance its mission by strengthening its effectiveness in alumni engagement, philanthropy, communications and marketing.

Director of Alumni and Community Relations Emma Holman Johnson The 91看片 has named Emma Holman Johnson as Director of Alumni and Community Relations. This newly created position is responsible for enhancing and expanding existing relationships with alumni and external constituencies through local, national and international networks. Focused outreach initiatives will be designed to elevate state, national and global recognition of the college鈥檚 55,000 alumni.

鈥淭he 91看片 has a long history of teaching excellence, research, thought leadership and scholarly reputation," said 91看片 Dean, Annette L. Ranft. 鈥淣ow is the time to grow our external engagements and firmly establish our national and global brand reputation as an elite college of business.鈥�

Johnson, a 2007 graduate of Auburn University鈥檚 College of Human Sciences, brings diverse career experiences to this new role including the American Cancer Society, where she was responsible for planning and executing large-scale fundraising events, the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia where she served as Director of Annual Giving and most recently, the 91看片 where she was a Development Officer.

A 2018 Leadership Georgia nominee, Johnson currently supports the Opelika Chamber of Commerce as a 20 Under 40 graduate and Board Member. She is also a member of the Cary Center鈥檚 Women鈥檚 Philanthropy Board.
